Easy Layout Using Quickutz Bloom & Grow Collection!
Summer is a busy time, so if you are looking for layout ideas, check out my easy layout using Quickutz Bloom & Grow Collection! Cutting these Cookie Cutter dies will be a little time consuming, but if you have kids or grandkids that want to help, this is a great opportunity to let them run the die cutting machine, while you do the assembly! You will want to run several colors through using the Bouquet die so you can mix & match the flowers.
That is one of the great things about dies, they are pretty kid friendly as long as there is adult supervision. Let the kids have the left over pieces that you don’t want to let them create their own masterpiece. This is great creative time together for those hours during day when it is to hot to do anything else!
I really fell in love with this collection as soon as I opened my box of goodies. With all the flowers and flourishes, how could I not? Seriously, these can be used for spring & summer activities, weddings, showers, formal, fun, layouts and cards. I am thrilled to have them to design with! I mean, there is ALWAYS room for flowers & flourishes in my scrap space and these are delightful!

If you’re wondering where the label came from, it is the inside piece from the Whimsical Frame. It was just to pretty to throw away, so I embossed it and used it on the layout as well! Turned out to be a beautiful label. I love it when I can make embellishments from the discard pieces! It makes me feel like I actually get 2 designs in one die! Super bargain!
Have your creativity wheels started spinning with what you can do with these? Pull out the die cutting machine and adhesive and get busy!
Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!

Great use of the “throw away” part of the frame! I would have never thought of using it as a label! LOVE the layout Carrie!

Thanks! I normally don’t think of using the negative space, but this one really caught my eye and I just couldn’t pass it up! I think I will start paying more attention to negative space from now on. I now wonder how many great things I have discarded in the past.
