Cut@Home Blog - Scrapbooking & Card Making Ideas

Spellbinders Summer Spectacular Blog Frenzy-Day Two!

I know you have all been anxiously awaiting today’s Spellbinders Summer Spectacular Blog Frenzy-Day Two and I have been right there with you! Spellbinders has a real treat for all of us.

#1- They have announced new M-Bossibilities which are superb! Here is Kim Hupke from Spellbinders to show you!

#2- They have announced brand new line called Nestabilities Card Creator die templates that has been designed specifically to work with standard A2 size cards. The work’s all done for you… no measuring required!

The Card Creator collection includes 2 basic matting sets- sizes A and B. When using sizes A or B within their respective sets… incrementing will be achieved at 1/4″. When combining set A or B… 1/8″ Incrementing is achieved.

Card Creator comes in 6 Creative sets: Two Basics that will perfectly cut ?, ¼ & ½” spaced layers and 4 decorative sets to mix and match with Card Creator Basics for all your Card Creating needs!

Oh my gosh, I feel a little breathless and my fingers are the ones doing all the talking about all this fun stuff! We had better get moving on with Spellbinders first designer who is also the latest licenced designer for Spellbinders. She is introducing the Nestibilities Card Creator because she is the creator of these dies! Way to go Cindy Echtinaw! She used the following products for her beautiful cards:

S5-131 A2 Matting Basics A

S5-132 A2 Matting Basics B

As a surprise, Spellbinders’ own Stacey Caron created a few cards with these dies also! I had to include these.

To see the tutorial for Cindy’s projects click HERE. She shares some fun ideas on how she created her projects that you will find very interesting.

Next, we are thrilled to see more from Sherry Cheever! She is an amazing designer, but admits she was just a bit upset when she saw her assigned items for her projects, because she said they did not fit her style. HA! Look what she did with her items. She can’t tell me that they don’t fit her style! These are fabulous! I personally think she could take a dirty, crumpled newspaper and make something incredible out of it. Take a look for yourselves. She was assigned the following:

EL-018 M-Bossabilities Framed Labels One

S4-375 Scalloped Labels One

What did I tell you?

On to our final designer of the day! I am very pleased to show you the fun and fresh style of Beate Johns.  She is also using the Nestabilities Card Creator dies for her inspiring projects. She always does a wonderful job on her projects and today is no exception! She, like Cindy used the A2 Matting Basics A and A2 Matting Basics B but included the following:

S5-133 Nestabilities A2 Polka Dots Card Creator

A HUGE thank you to today’s designers at Spellbinders for sharing this lovely projects with us!

These projects are lovely, and these new dies are overwhelming me! I’m a new Grand Calibur owner and Spellbinders user, just discovered this blog, so I’ve been learning so much this week about the machine and using the huge library of dies available. So now there’s …..more! Enjoyed the reading, so thanks for sharing.
