What a lovely medley of scrap booking tools. These are very useful for those scrap booking enthusiasts who do not know how to use a digital editing program such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements (the basic version of the industry grade program). For me, there is more creative freedom in designing your own borders, but these stamps are certainly great.

Romeo you are absolutely right! The creativity is in the hands and being able to use the stamps with scrapbooking tools how you want rather than sitting at a desk and doing it online or with a software. It is simply a different approach. There are those who love digital scrapbooking and there are those that prefer it by hand. We do sell both, however it really comes down to preference. Usually we tell ladies that if they have a desk job it is more healthy to come home and NOT turn the computer back on, but go to the table and craft with your own hands. If you are a stay at home mom and not on the computer at all, then perhaps you will like the idea of scrapbooking from a computer with something like the Cameo by Silhouette or a photoshop software. We have die cutting machines that are for both types of women.

I sure could have used these scrapbooking tools back in 1996, when I was creating custom greeting cards for various occasions. Today, I use computer software and a printer to do most of this type of work. That’s not to say these tools aren’t good. They are wonderful for certain people. I think they look pretty cool and elegant and fun.

They are pretty cool, elegant and fun! There is no doubt about it. The scrapbooking industry definitely has something for everyone. From intricate dies for die cutting machines, electronic die cutters and computer software, it has become a very versatile industry just like the crafters!

  5. Linda Says:

I am always intrigued by all the arts and crafts tools that have come out on the market. Today’s greeting cards and scrapbooks are very impressive thanks to many toola including premade stamps like these.

  6. Donna Says:

You have some great ideas here and there were some really beautiful ideas in those pictures. Do you have to charge more for the item that you do simply because you did it by hand with theses stampers or do you try to be competitive with the people that are generating things like this on the computer and a machine cuts it out for them? I like the hand made stuff myself.

  7. Cut@Home Says:

There are so many products on the market these days for scrapbooking and card making, it can make your head spin! Rubber stamps have come a long way and are so beautifully designed now, as well as easy to use!

  8. Cut@Home Says:

Thanks for your comments! Everyone loves a hand made card, but if you are looking at card making as a business, you do need to be competitive with other hand crafted card makers. Of course, stamped images on a card add so much detail, but there is a difference in appearance from computer generated images. A hand stamped image has more character!

  9. Katherine Says:

I am right up there with Maurice, I sure could have used this a few years ago. I will probably go ahead and order one because I like the handmade look but I also have a computer that will make things for me much easier and quicker now. Sometimes though I just love to slow down and take my time and do the project the old fashioned way.

  10. Cut@Home Says:

Computers are great, but it is nice to slow down occasionally and actually do a hands on project. Hand made items just have the look and feel that give the impression there was more thought and time put into the project. A little more love involved, if you know what I mean.

  11. Mary Says:

This is exciting I run the children’s ministry at my church and they love to make cards and things for their parents on special occasions like mother’s day and father’s day, and I think this is going to make those cards all the more fun for them. They like to use glitter and colorful pieces so making stamps out of one color that they can add to another will be great fun.

  12. Cut@Home Says:

You’re right, this would be a great die for kids to make cards with! What a great idea!
