Heartfelt Creations Card

In making my new Heartfelt Creations card, I feel like I have a renewed energy for stamping. When I look at some of the stamped items that come out, I feel so overwhelmed that I could never make anything that beautiful even if I spent a lifetime on perfecting it. Not so! The new Heartfelt Creations Noel stamp is unbelievably gorgeous! It takes all the work that you would normally have to do and does it for you! I’m not kidding. While I was working on this card I tried to think of more to add; however, the more I thought of things, the more I liked keeping it simple. It’s such an intricate stamp that you really don’t want to cover it up. I used the Frosty Blanket Paper Collection because it has such a gorgeous tone for this stamp. I love that it gives a little added design behind the stamping so the stamp stands out a little more. Of course it’s the paper that correlates with the entire set and that is partly what made this card so easy to make and so beautiful.

I chose the paper with the poinsettia so I could easily match the paper with the hue of the flower since they’re on the same sheet of paper. I placed my stamp in the middle of the page and stamped.

Then traced around the edge of the stamp so that I could cut it out in the same shape.

Now all you have to do is embellish! This is the fun part! I’ve always said that the best things in life are learned in Kingergarten and this is no exception! Get out your coloring pencils, glue, glitter, and ribbon and craft away! I promise you’ll have a great time getting your hands dirty like a 4 year old! I know I did!

I used the same poinsettia that you see on the paper, cut it out, cut the petals and added some frosty white glitter. Then I made a flower ribbon, used another stamp that correlates with the collection (“For you at Christmas”), added gold glitter to the “Noel” and was done!
