Heartfelt Creations Card #2

If you’re thinking, “That girl had way too much fun with her glitter and glue”, then you’re absolutely right and that’s why I just HAD to make another Heartfelt Creations card! To be honest, I started my project working on an embossing folder, but I couldn’t resist the stamping frenzy that was running through my fingers. Now that it’s complete, I’m quite satisfied with my glitter-filled fingernails and the card creation that came from my fun!

The more I use the Frosty Blanket Paper Collection, the more I am convinced that paper life cannot go on without it! That’s right! It’s that important. The colors are just amazing and perfect for the upcoming holiday season. With this card, I wanted to keep it relatively simple, again, but feature the Yuletide Sentiments stamps and the fern in the Holiday Mail.

When I started on the fern, I thought I would be cutting tiny little pieces out until I turned 90; however, it went a lot faster than I anticipated and turned out beautiful. Don’t let those little leaves get in the way of you cutting that little beauty of a fern, it pays off in the end and isn’t as tedious as it looks. Once again, I used the poinsettia from the paper, cut it out, added glitter and pearls, but this time I surrounded it by the glittery fern. How beautiful is it? Oh maybe just beautiful enough to put them all over my walls at Christmastime! Take a look!

I used the “Have a Wonderful Christmas” from the Yuletide Sentiments stamps. I suggest stamping before cutting around it since the shape of the stamp is a little slanted. I used the GORGEOUS Decorative Labels Twenty-Seven to frame my saying and added some pearls.

Last, but not least, I added the Want2Scrap Finesse Swirls in Brown to give it a little extra sparkle. The packet comes with two swirls, but I used one and cut it in half.

Products used:

HCDP1 225- Heartfelt Creations Frosty Blanket Paper Collection

HCPC 3490 – Hearfelt Creations Holiday Mail

HCOC 3493 – Heartfelt Creations Yuletide Sentiments

S4-380- Spellbinders Decorative Labels Twenty-Seven

6080- Want2Scrap Finesse Swirls Brown Rhinestones

4039- Want2Scrap Beautiful Bling Strips Sleep Strips White

Colored pencils

Glitter

Liquid Glue

There you go! Get crazy with that glitter! I highly recommend it for some card-making therapy. It always brings a smile to my face!

Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!

Stacy

It is most definitely time to think about Christmas if you are creating your own cards! Can you ever have enough glitter when it comes to Christmas? Everything should sparkle!
