Easy Layout With DCWV Homespun Stack
If you like stitching, hand made quilts, and a cozy look, then you are going to love this easy layout created with DCWV Homespun Cardstock Stack. This stack is loaded with country prints in warm pinks, purples, blues and greens. Coordinates with the Homespun Solid Cardstock Stack. Stack includes 48 premium cardstock sheets. 2 each of the 24 patterns, half with glitter. Comes in 12 x 12″ only. These soft patterns will make you want to cuddle up in a hand stitched quilt while you create!
This layout was so simple because the paper already gave me some of my embellishments! I used 5 sheets out of the stack-2 for the background and 3 for embellishments, so I have some left over of these to use with other projects.
Other supplies used:
Sewing machine for stitching
DA0081-Quickutz Handmade Alphabet
657093-Sizzix Sizzlits Accordian Fold Flowers Set
Felt scraps for flowers
corner punch
white and green ric-rac
201-1/8″ Scor-Tape
655268-Sizzix Big Shot Machine
I cut the title and flowers out with the dies, stitched around the flower centers, machine stitched around the photo mats, placed the title in the clouds already printed on the paper, punched the rounded corners on the photos, added 2 pieces of ric-rac, adhered the pieces and I was done! Super fast and fun!
Now that is my kind of scrappin’! That is one of the things I love about DCWV. Their patterns make scrapbooking and card making simple, just because their papers are so gorgeous that you don’t need a lot to dress them up! Great for everyone!
Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!

Thanks! It was fun to pull out my machine. I hadn’t done it in a while, but I couldn’t pass it up to go with the paper!
