Spooking Up A Bewitching Halloween!
My dear friend Shauna and I are gearing up for a bewitching Halloween by getting in the mood early! To celebrate her fall birthday, we had a “girl’s night” at Gardner Village, an old mill that has been renovated into a delightfully unique shopping area, full of shops that used to be old homes from surrounding areas and a restaurant that serves delicious entrees that remind you of down home cooking. YUMMY!
This time of year they have the whole place decked out in an array of fall decor, ranging from pumpkins and dried corn stalks, to larger than life witches! We had a great time just walking around the shops taking pictures of all the stylish (and not so stylish) witches. If you are ever in our neck of the woods during this time of year, I most definitely recommend visiting the village. Bring the kids, grandkids, or friends! It is a family friendly environment.
Here are a few of the witches we saw while strolling that I thought you might get a kick out of:
Aren’t these fun? I can’t wait to do some layouts with these, or maybe even a mini album so I can show off all the different witches! There were a lot more than these to see, but at least you got a sample of the ambiance there.
Halloween is my second favorite holiday. I love to decorate for it and make spooky fun crafts! There are so many great products available on the market to create ghoulish projects for all your haunting activities. You will want to fly in and view all of our Halloween items on our site HERE. We have lots to choose from, paper to dies, Pumpkins to Graveyard Scenes from Spellbinders, Bo Bunny, Quickutz, Sizzix, Tim Holtz and Graphic 45. It’s time to dig up your monster mojo!
Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!
