Halloween Scrapbook Layout!

Yikes! Halloween is only 15 days away, but we are already seeing ghosts, goblins and witches running around town,  and it is a great time to prep for those spooky photos by having pre-made Halloween scrapbook layouts ready! We have lots to choose from to help you create those pages! Check out our Halloween Category HERE.

I used a variety of supplies for my double page layout which included Spellbinders and Quickutz dies and some older My Mind’s Eye paper as well as odds and ends from my craft stash. Sometimes it is fun just to go through some of your old stuff to find treasures that have been forgotten! I don’t know about you, but I can hide things from myself so long, that it seems like a real treat when I find it again!

I had so much fun with my friend Shauna touring the witch display at Gardner Villiage that I took my daughter Stacy and my grandkids! We had so much fun and had to chuckle every time 2 year old Claire would shout “Yuck mommy, Anudder witch! (translation-”Look mommy, Another witch!”) She was not scared of the larger than life displays at all! Jared was just along for the ride and was rather glad when we took his sweaty dinosaur costume off of him so he could stretch.

Products used:

TIM19541 Tim Holtz Distress Ink Black Soot

S4-330 Spellbinders Nested Tombstones

S4-333 Spellbinders Spider Web

DC0189 Quickutz Nested Ghosts

DA0309 Quickutz Jump Rope 4×4 Alphabet

My Minds Eye halloween paper out of my old stash

Spider brads

black netting I got from the local Scrapbooking Expo. Cool stuff, but I don’t remember what its called or which vendor I got it from! (sorry!)

The broom was a piece of straw that fell out of one of my decor brooms that I tied a piece of ribbon on and frayed the end!

I frayed the edges of my matting paper by running scissor blades along the edge, then inking.

If you haven’t got in the Halloween spirit yet, all you have to do is treat yourself to some time on a seasonal layout and it should to the trick!

Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!

Carrie

Very cute layout. I love the stuff that you used for the the spider webs. I thought our store had that paper you used, but sadly it doesn’t. However, we do have a similar flocked scrapbook paper from My Mind’s Eye for only $0.49 http://www.everything4scrapbooking.com/Shop-by-Theme/Holiday-Scrapbooking/Halloween/Spiders-Paper.html
