Crafting Christmas Project
Christmas decorating in our house happens the day after Thanksgiving so Heather has been trying to finish up a few crafting Christmas projects she has been working on. This one is a large ornament that could go on a tree but with the size of it we are going to hang it on our Christmas shelf. When we made the Halloween book there was a plexiglass circle that we did not use and so Heather came up with this idea for the spare piece and it turned out really cute. All she did was cut out a piece of velum to the same size as the circle and used the Hero Arts Heavens Rejoice stamp set to create a nice Christmas Scene on it. Then she grabbed some Tim Holtz holiday paper and cut it to size and put it behind the velum. All you have to do now is put the plexiglass, velum, and paper together–add some ribbon and there you have it a nice homemade ornament to add some Christmas cheer into your house this year.
Have fun this year decorating you house up for the holidays. Other than it being really cold outside I really enjoy this time of year, it is amazing how Thanksgiving really gets us started with that holiday cheer that you can feel just about anywhere you go. Happy Holidays!
