Just A Little Note Card!
Valentine’s Day is nearly here, so I wanted to be a “good mom” and bake my kids some yummy treats and dress them up with just a little note card to wish them a Happy Valentine’s Day! Now I just have to think of something to surprise my hubby with. He had already eaten his share of the cookies before I got them frosted!

Okay, so quit drooling over the cookies and draw your attention to the little note card and envelope. I literally whipped up 3 of these before work this morning, since it took me longer than I had anticipated to bake and frost the cookies last night (along with laundry, cooking dinner, guitar lessons, etc.).
To tell you the truth, I kind of cheated because it was one of those “everything gone wrong” mornings. I took one piece of Authentique 12×12 paper for both the note card and label, then a sheet of regular white paper for the envelope. EASY!
Here’s my product list:
Paper trimmer
101-Score-Pal V.3
406-Score-Envi
201-1/8″ Scor-Tape
658051-Sizzix Sizzlits 3PK Lovely Labels
LOV013-Authentique Lovely Paper-crafting Assortment (one sheet)
Brads
white copy paper
ink
Sizzix Big Shot Machine
The one side of the Authentiqe paper already had the beautiful little border printed on it, so I cut the sheet in half then cut the side with the border into 3″ wide strips, scored them in the middle. I used an older stamp set that I had on hand for the saying, put the brads in the sides and glued the label on the card.
For the envelope I followed the cutting and folding instructions on the Scor-Envi for a 3×3 card. Very simple! See all of the Scor-Pal items HERE.
I hope this gives you a little tip for your last minute note cards (if you have any)!
Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!
Carrie
