When we got the Sizzix Ballroom Slippers I thought right away that these would be perfect for decorating our daughters room. Our two year old is such a diva and has a fascination with shoes (especially high heals). We just sat down yesterday and started to play with the die set and these are what we came up with.
What we did was grabbed some of our double sided 6×6 paper pads, ran the dies through our Cuddlebug, and glued everything together; they are so simple and even give you crease lines to fold on. I really liked how the shoe turned out from the Teresa Collins Vintage Finds paper stack. We used double sided paper for most of them because the other side will be seen but they look really nice when you can see the white paper as well. You can use really anything to finish them off: flowers, gems, or any other accessory to complete these fun filled shoes. We used on some of them Sizzix Summer Florals and Medallions which were really fun to make, Just cut out, fold along the perferations, glue the ends together, and stick something in the middle to hold it in place.
This was a really fun project and we are excited to do more of them to put around our girls room. Hope you have fun with it as well.
