Cut@Home Blog - Scrapbooking & Card Making Ideas

Magnolia Card Ideas!

I hit the jackpot in Vegas when I walked into the Magnolia booth at CHA and saw all of these Magnolia card ideas! Holy smoke, there were so many beautiful cards that I seriously could hear the ding, ding, ding of  slot machines going off! Oh, well maybe my ears were still ringing from the unavoidable noisy walk through the hotel casino on my way to the convention center.

The cards are beautifully detailed and with all of the different stamps that were used, it was almost like a story board telling the adventures of Tilda and Edwin.  There was no way I could take pictures of all the cards to show you, so I just did a video to try and show you as many as possible! I really tried to keep it short and sweet for you, but it is well worth viewing if you want ideas on how these stamps can be used.

If you are not familiar with Tilda and Edwin, here are examples showing them from the Magnolia Gallery. Too cute!

Magnolia is home of the Magnolia stamps and DooHickeys Dies! New Release Magnolia Stamps are reminiscent of the Precious Moments or Holly Hobby ceramic figures. Featuring Tilda and Edwin, these darling stamps are trimmed and backed with EZMount. Just attach the stamp to your acrylic or wooden block and you are ready to stamp. Tilda and Edwin are approximately 3 – 3 1/2″ inches tall. The sitting images are smaller. DooHickeys Dies coordinate with the stamps are will stand alone.

Nestabilities make perfect background shapes for Tilda and Edwin. They can can sit on the rim perfectly. Then you may add ribbons or other embellishments such as flowers, etc. to bring out more dimension in your cards! Be sure to visit the Magnolia stamps blog HERE OR Magnolia stamps gallery HERE to get more ideas on how to use tilda and edwin on your cards. Magnolia stamps card making is definitely addicting. Once you fall in love with these there is no turning back! It is contagious and as some say MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS

I hope you will join me for a stroll through the Magnolia booth at  Summer CHA 2013!

Thanks & Happy Scrappin’!

Carrie
