I always have an eye out for organization tips, so I completely flipped over the Darice Embossing Folders Organizer storage solution for the many embossing folders that I have acquired! It is awesome! I bought one, then turned right around and ordered 3 more!

The Darice Embossing Folders Organizer retails for $19.99, but our everyday low price is $17.39!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Simply said, I love it! You can see 8 folders at a time and they are secured under clear plastic so you can see the whole design on the folder. Made of Black Nylon, it holds up to 40 folders and has a zip around closer. Now instead of thumbing through a bin or basket, I can open the folder and easily see what I have! I am thinking I will store some of my nesting dies in one of these as well, so I bought some magnetic sheeting, which I cut into quarters and will put my dies on that. They fit perfectly!

We all have different ways of storing our beloved craft supplies, so this may or may not work for you, BUT if you are looking for a better storage solution, then this is most definitely worth a try!

I love seeing a picture of a finished project and then getting all of the goods to make the project! The Sizzix English Garden Card really is great for any occasion. I didn’t put a specific occasion on mine yet either since I didn’t have anything coming up. I could use it for a wedding, a birthday, a baby shower, anything! The other thing I loved about it was that it was so easy to make! It uses the Sizzix Sizzlits dies and they are so great to cut ANYTHING with. Really, anything at all. For this card, you don’t even use all of the pieces, and I almost made a second card with all of my leftovers….if I didn’t have to go to bed. Get your favorite cardstock out and get crafty!

I still have not covered all of the wonderful things I want to share, so today I am slipping in the Sizzix/Tim Holtz CHA 2013 Booth! From Bigz dies to Thinlits, there was so much to see! It was like a whirlwind of ideas and color. Where to point my camera first?

I love the new Sizzix Thinlits and the Framelits w/stamps! There are so many things you can do with these! What are Thinlits you ask? Well, Thinlits create dazzling detailed shapes for more creative cardmaking and papercrafting projects. These wafer-thin chemical-etched die sets are designed to cut a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil or vellum. They are simple to use, compact and portable for cutting at home or on the go. Use them for enhanced intricacy and to add a special touch of inspiration to all your projects. Thinlits cut, emboss and stencil! Very cool!

I did make sure that I saw part of Tim Holtz‘ demo using embossing folders and some of his new Movers & Shapers, but I only caught part of it in the video. There was just not time for me to capture the whole thing. I tried to get lots of photos of Tim’s new products, and the one I saw the most of was the Bigz Picture Wheel. Remember the view finders when you were a kid? I sure do! It was like a mini slide show. Speaking of cool, the Lifestyle Crafts team are Rockin’! On Sunday night, after the show closed for the day, they had a party at the place they were staying at and invited all of their retailers and designers. They had J Dawgs, chips and salsa, soda and other party food. What’s a J Dawg you ask? Well, if you have ever been to Provo, Utah and have been to a BYU (Brigham Young University) game, or been on their campus, you might know, but for those who don’t (which I actually didn’t), it is basically a grilled hot dog with “special sauce”.

I have 2 kids and a son-in-law who are BYU grads and I am in Provo approximately once a week, but I did not know what a J Dawg was until the party! My kids had a great laugh that I had to go clear to California to have my first J Dawg!

Anyway, the party was great! We met retailers and designers from all over the world! Four delightful women from Denmark and store owners from South Africa and Singapore were some that we got to talk with, but it was the Karaoke that was the highlight of the night! It was hard to get the mike from Theron, who seems to be the Karaoke king!

We’re continuing the CHA tour today by giving you a look at some of the fun things at the Spellbinders and JustRite Stampers Booths! Oh my goodness, they had such fun projects to see!

I ran into Cindy Echtinaw, the creator of the Spellbinders Card Creator system and had a fun visit with her! She is loaded with fun ideas and the new Card Creator dies are exquisite! If you haven’t taken a look at the new 5×7″ Card Creator system, you should definitely take a look at our Pre-Order section right now! WOW!

She also came out with an A2 Curved Corners Matting Basics, so you can put away your corner punches, because these will do it all for you! You want decorative edges on your cards? Then A2 Borders are fabulous and coordinate with the Card Creator! Like I have said before, Cindy is BRILLIANT!

My daughter Stacy , who is also one of our designers, is totally hooked on Teresa Collins paper collections, so sweetie, I am dedicating this Teresa Collins Winter 2013 Booth blog post to you!

I so enjoy visiting the Teresa Collins’ booth at the show! She is so sweet and gracious, and this time, her daughters  Gentry and Tayor came to help her. They are just as beautiful as their mother and just as sweet! They all have so much fun together. You can tell that they are so close.

Day 2 of our CHA tour, and today I want to take you to Heartfelt Creations Winter 2013 Booth! They have SOOO many items displayed for inspiration, that it is like swimming in a pool of ideas! It is wonderful!

The people at Heartfelt Creations are some of the sweetest people I have ever met, and they are genuinely interested in hearing what you have  to say about their product, ideas, suggestions…everything! They are terrific!

Today is Explore Beyond-Spellbinders Sneak Peak Day 7. The last day of Spellbinders previews before CHA.
