Sparkle N Sprinkle Stamps With Coordinating Spellibinders Dies!

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011

I love when I receive goodies in the mail, don’t you? So you understand when I tell you that I was delighted to receive card samples from some of the talented designers at Sparkle N Sprinkle without knowing they were coming! I mean, one handmade card is fun, but 7 at once is way more than I get for my birthday! Wow!

All of the Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp sets that we carry have a sticky cushioned backing. All you have to do is place them on an acrylic block (sold separately) and stamp away! Sparkle N Sprinkle have partnered with Spellbinders dies and have been producing stamp sets to coordinate with many of the Spellbinders Nestabilities dies. They will continue to release new products in this vein.

I want to share them with you since I just can’t keep them for myself! I would like to thank Sparkle N Sprinkle designers Elenor Jenkins, Julie B. Warner, Donna Maligno, Shona Erlenborn and Judy Rozema for the beautiful cards! We appreciate all the work that you put into creating them!

Designer for both festive cards- Shona Erlenborn using Nesties Xmas Trees and Nesties Ornaments with coordinating Spellbinders dies 2010 Holiday Trees.

Designers Julie B. Warner and Elenor Jenkins created these beautiful cards using Thanks a Bunch, Happy Birthday and Blossoms stamp sets. Coordinating Spellibinders Dies for the Blossoms stamp set are Blossom Three and Nested Leaves.

Designers Judy Rozema and Donna Maligno used Ocean Treasures and By the Seashore. Spellbinders dies used by Judy are  Classic Ovals Large and Classic Scalloped Ovals Large.

Now you can see why I was so thrilled to open the mail that day! These are wonderful! Thank you Sparkle N Sprinkle!

Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!

DCWV And Graphic 45 CHA Booths!

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

I have been given the assignment of blogging about my favorite booth at CHA. It is really a tough decision because there were so many that were outstanding! So, I guess that I would have to tie Die Cuts With A View  and Graphic 45! Their booths were very different from each other, but both teams put tremendous effort into their booths to draw retailers and  spotlight their latest products. I was literally in awe of the inspiration that their design teams  shared with us!

DCWV was the first booth we saw, front and center, as we walked through the entrance! With their theme Christmas Morning, they captured my feelings as I viewed all the shiny new products in the convention center! It was like Christmas to me! All of their trees and presents were made from various paper pads, the cozy fire in the fireplace and living room setting, their prize buck mounted on the wall were  all made from their paper products!

I had the privilege of meeting several women on their team, including Erin who writes their Blog! They are all wonderful women and I had so much fun in their booth!

Can you see what I mean? So warm and cozy that I could   have sat in the rocking chair and taken a nice long nap!

Graphic 45 had decorated other elements that I have a passion for- antiques (or at least faux antiques) with their incredible paper lines!  Their team was delightful and dressed in costumes featuring The Magic of Oz release, with Diane dressing as Dorothy for their daily drawing, and the Wicked Witch the rest of the day. In my personal opinion, she is way to sweet to be the Wicked Witch and way to classy! They were so busy that I wasn’t able to snap any pictures of them alone!

What did I tell you? Both are just so impressive that I just could not make a decision on one! I hope that you have enjoyed seeing a peak of the show! The creative energy was flowing through Chicago for sure! Have a great weekend!

Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!

Spellbinders Blog Frenzy continues with new Nestabilities and more!

Monday, July 19th, 2010

I hope you are enjoying this sneak peak of some of the new Spellbinders dies! I have six new dies and coordinating projects to share with you today, so let’s get crackin’!

Our first two dies to showcase are S4298 Antiquities and S4299 Fallen Angel. They are shapeabilities dies:

For our next die, we have more Nestabilities with the S4288 Classic Diamonds!

You receive seven sizes of diamonds! Diamond shapes are always so great to work with and very versatile! Just look what Deborah Young did!

YES! That last project is really made with these Diamond Nesties! Wow! Thanks Deborah, wonderful ideas!

Our next two dies go along with our Christmas in July theme – the S4285 Nested Mittens and S4284  Holiday Trees:

Gina Hansen has me very merry with her projects!

Thanks Gina! I can’t wait to play with these!

And because we ALL love the nestabilities labels, I am very excited to introduce S4291 Labels Fifteen:

Here are the projects that DT member Ashley Cannon Newell came up with:

Fantastic projects! Kudos to all the talented women on the Spellbinders DT team! For the recipes and step by step instructions on how to make these projects, please see the designers individual blogs by clicking on her name.

As before, all these dies are now available for pre-order through our website. Make sure you keep all the pre-orders on the same order and don’t mix them up with items that are available. Tomorrow is the last day of the blog frenzy, so stay tuned!

Happy Scrappin’!
