Day 6 Spellbinders Surprise Party new releases!

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

Here we go with super summer sweet treats! These new dies will get you ready for this summer or get you motivated to scrap last summer! Let’s get this party started!

I scream you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Didn’t Karen Hunsaker do a great job with the S4275 Nested Ice Cream Cone! Her first project is a cut out ice cream cone card. I gave you two views of her second project, so you could see how she hinged the card using a brad. Cute!

Everybody craves something sweet every once in a awhile! Christy Farneth Kerr used the ice cream cone from S4276 Sweet Treats for her Ice Cream Social invitation and a scrapbook page of Kiki and her cone.  Yummy!

Holly Simoni had a great time with the S4272 Surfs Up and I2-1016 Seascape Impressabilities. The “Life of a Child” is on canvas and the Surf’s Up is a mini album. I had to include all her pages on the mini album because they were all too cute! Way to go Holly!

If you like what you see, you can pre-order the dies through our pre-order page. The recipes are on the designers blogs as well as how to enter the Spellbinders contest to win free dies.

Tomorrow is the last day and you will not be disappointed!

Thanks and Enjoy,

Marcie

Day 4 of Spellbinders new releases!

Monday, January 11th, 2010

It’s time to baby your baby with the Spellbinders Limited Edition Baby Collection! You will LOVE these new dies so let’s get started:

From Linda Duke are these projects using the  S4236 Baby Border Petite and the S5020 Nursery Time and featuring her grandson.  How sweet is he! The Baby Border is a petite borderabilities die and the Nursery Time is a frameabilities. I am going to use Nursery Time to  mat pictures of my granddaughters and frame them to match the colors in their nursery.

Jennifer Davis introduced Nested Ducks and the New Arrival Impressabilities. I love the quilted ducks too Jennifer! What vision! The impressabilities can be used to deboss your paper and you can also clip off the little shapes and use them to embellish your project. That is why I always buy two.

I have met Terre Fry and the dedication she has to Spellbinders and her paper craft shows up in her fantastic designs! Here Terre introduces the S4260 New Arrival shapeabilities dies.

So what do you think?? These new dies are going to keep me VERY busy! Go to our pre-order page to order yours and be one of the first one to have these new dies!

I will start working on today’s release right away so check back in a few hours for a sneak at those!

Thanks,

Marcie

Christmas Holiday Dies and Embossing Folders

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Just wanted to mention that we still have lots of Christmas and Holiday die cuts and embossing folders at REALLY great prices.  If you go to our store: http://www.ucutathome.com/store/index.php you’ll see just a little of what we have and there is so much more if you search under the term: Christmas.

Provo Craft released some absolutely beautiful embossing folders for this Christmas. Be sure to check them out: Winter Trees, Candy Cane Stripe, Christmas Countdown, Lace Tree, Seasons Greetings, Fleur De Lis, Holly Ribbons, and much more.

Spellbinders has some wonderful Christmas die cuts too with their Poinsettia Frameability and Snowflake Impressabilities.  And of course they always have your traditional Holiday dies with a Santa, Wreath, Create A Flakes and lots more!

But if you are looking for the Largest selection of diecuts for the holidays then it would have to be Quickutz! Since they release dies every 30 days you can always have something new.  Their nesting ornaments and Santas Workshop have been HUGE hits this year and we have heard nothing but great things about these!

Then there is my personal favorite and that is ALL the pretty Christmas color flowers from Petaloo to decorate any homemade Christmas Card! With all the variety of Dazzlers and Flora Doodles it is sometimes even hard to choose, but with such a great price I’ve got them All!

Spellbinders NEW Impressabilities!

Friday, April 10th, 2009

Just thought we would feature on our BLOG a little about the NEW Spellbinders Impressabilities. Currently there are four to choose from at a great price for only 6.29, which is 10% off retail. You can also use your VIP 40% off coupon on these items too. In my opinion, BUY all four of them and use the coupon, making it around 21.00, which is unbelievable!

These Impressabilities are customizable embellishment templates that allow scrapbook and card making crafters to EMBOSS or DEBOSS the front of an A2 card creating detailed embellishments! You can also use micro-tip scissors to trim the templates for flourishes, frames, charms, and much more.  Another use for them is with INKS to create a nice debossed letter press effect!  Click here to see the four different ones and read more. Here is the butterfly below to give you an look!

NEW Spellbinders product!

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

We received 22 boxes last night and have been shipping like crazy today! We received 99% of everything we ordered. The only item that we were shorted on was the Impressabilities. We received very few of those. We are splitting the shipments on everyone’s orders so you can be one of the first ones to receive these great new dies. You will not be paying any more for shipping.  If it costs more to ship it this way, then we are covering the  cost. We don’t want you waiting any minute longer than you have to! We are ONLY splitting the shipment on the pre-order orders, NOT on any other orders. We will have more Impressabilities coming, hopefully next week, but Spellbinders is just as busy as we are, so who knows….

Thanks and we hope you enjoy the new Nesties!

Back from CHA!

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

We had a GREAT trip! Of course, things fell apart here with our server going down and Click’n Ship crashing, so Dustin and I were sorely missed :-) However, Tauna and Janeth did a beautiful job of holding things together, and by Tuesday everything was running smoothly again. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused and thank you for your patience.

Our BIG news is Cut@Home won an award! When we showed up at the Spellbinders booth, we were greeted by Stacy Caron and Jerry Poffel of Spellbinders for a big ole group hug! With a glimmer in her eye, Stacy said “We have something for you.” They then presented us with the 2008 Web Retailer of the Year Outstanding Performance Award! How about that!! We were pretty thrilled to say the least. Of course, we share if with all of you, because your outstanding support of our little store made it all happen.  We placed a HUGE order for all the new Nesties – you are going to want them all! The Impressabilities are really going to rock your world when you see what you can do with those! Wendy Weixler, Spellbinders designer extraordinaire and a dedicated CAH shopper, showed us all the beautiful ways you can use these stencils. They will be available on our pre-order site soon. We also met with Terre, their customer service manager, who is really on the ball and made sure we were well taken care of. They are all working very hard to keep up with the demand they have created for the best products. They have contracted with a new fulfillment center, so they will be closing down their shipping department for  the first two weeks in February. We have a lot of inventory right now in preparation for this, but just in case there is an unpredicted run on a certain die, we may have some wait time until they are up and shipping again. Their new fulfillment center promises to be very professional and quick with their orders. As for the NEW dies, they are still expected to arrive the end of the February. They have some of the dies on a slowboat and some of the dies coming by air. By boat or plane – they are on their way! Get your pre-orders in NOW! These dies are going be even bigger than ever! We are very excited!! They also have a new mat set for their border dies and an assortment of foils. The Wizard Bag and the Die Holder, which are on our pre-order site, are also very nice and I think you will like  them a lot. They are very good quality. The pinky-purple suede is very attractive. Also, some of the S3 and S4 dies have a permanent price reduction! More ways to save and make die-cutting more affordabel during these economically challenging times. Ya gotta love it!

I met with Kirk Pead, my QuicKutz rep, who showed us all the latest and greatest from QuicKutz! I am very excited about their new line of A2 embossing folders! They are comparable to the Cuttlebug folders in size and material. They are starting out with 12 single designs and also a design of four on one 4×6 folder. I love this idea! And the price point is $4.99! We will be working on having those available on pre-order as well. Look for a spring release date. They have a new Silhouette machine and a Silhouette download club, as well as new vinyl colors. I will have more information on that at a later date. I also asked if we could extend the coupon usage for another week, so my rep is going to take that to his bosses, and hopefully I will know if they cleared that before February’s coupon comes out.

We met with Dave and Alicia at Inspired Crafts and they showed us their new packaging for the Cutterglide, which is going to be so nice! They are also packaging the Mist-it’s in a three pack, which will be great. If you have a Mist-it, then you know why you want more than one! I love Dave and Alicia’s commitment to our environment in keeping everything eco-friendly. Go green!

Roy and Diana Crick from Scor-Pal are always a delight to visit! We are pumped about their new product – 6×6 sheets of Scor-Tape! How awesome is that! You can run it through your machines with a die and have scor-tape on the back of your die! Woohoo!! We will also be carrying the 1/2″ Scortape, which, as all your papercrafters know, holds together the seams for your boxes.  Look for those on our website very soon.

Here is the news on our other vendors: As always, Boss Kut has the cutest new 2×2 dies which will be released in March and the Gazelle, their new digital die-cutter. We will have the accessories for the Gazelle very shortly. We also met with Robin and Racel from Robin’s Nest and looked at all their new Dew Drops colors! You are going to LOVE the metallics! The teal is my favorite. They also have pink and green in a flowere shape dew drop. It will take them a few weeks to get all their CHA orders shipped, so we will announce it when they have arrived and are ready for shipping.  We met with Ron, our Copic rep. The good news is he gave us permission to discount our markers 25% off MSRP, however, the MSRP did go up as of January 1st. Not by a lot, just a few dollars, but I wanted to make you aware of that, so you don’t think we are pulling a fast one by raising the price then discounting it. I know some people do that and it is their business if they do, however, my personal feeling is it is not honest, and I won’t do it. We met with Provocraft, and we know they have new A2 embossing folders coming out (we heard in June) but did not get a peek at them or get a confirmed availability date.

As for NEW product, we met with some paper companies and will be soon be carrying paper! We are very excited about that so as soon as we work out the details, we will be announcing that.We are met with Katie Renz, a very talented designer and devoted CAH shopper, and bounced some ideas around about a program we are developing for all our designer friends. GREAT things are happening here and we are excited to make all of you a part of it!

Phew! This might be my longest blog ever! I hope this information has been fun and helpful to all of you and has you as excited as I am for 2009.  It is going to be a FANTASTIC year! I have wonderful business partners, a dedicated staff, supportive vendors and the best customers ever, all who are so willing to help and advise in any way they can. I am so blessed and grateful!

Thanks!

I just received word from Spellbinders they have stopped production on their clear stamp line, Impressabilities. Both our apologies to those of you who have ordered these stamps and were excited to use them. They will let me know if/when they start production again.

March VIP coupon has been sent!

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Another month…another coupon! The snow is finally disappearing in wintry Utah (although I am sure we have not seen the last of Jack Frost!). The “ice sculpture” that used to be my driveway is finally melted! I am looking forward to warmer weather and spring.

The March VIP newsletter with the coupon code has been sent. If you did not receive yours, check your spam folder. Your spam filter could be blocking our emails. Some email accounts need to be adjusted to allow mail from cutathome. Also, you may have a typo in your email address. So if you did not receive your newsletter and it is not in your spam folder, register again and see if that takes care of the problem. If not, let me know and I will send your newsletter manually. I don’t want anyone to miss out on this month’s sales.

We have a bunch of new product for Quickutz and Boss Kut, so make sure you check what is new. I also have some great deals on select 2×2 dies, so check the QK specials. I forgot to mention I still have a few Snow Days left. I am working on getting some images of the new Spellbinders Impressabilities clear stamps. As soon as I have those images cleaned up, I will load the clear stamps so you can have a chance to order those. I’ll let you know when they are available.

Nothing new on the Nestabilities back orders. Still looking at the end of this month before I start shipping. Cross your fingers Cut@Home gets a HUGE shipment to fill all these orders!! The only other back ordered item that I am aware of is the Boss Kut #727 Flourish. It will be available again in June.

Have fun shopping and I’ll see you at the checkout line!
