I have been so excited to do this Teresa Collins Memories layout! In the Memories Collection Pack you receive 9 sheets of doublesided cardstock paper and a 12×12 accessories sheet. Also available in a 6×6 paper pad. I love the colors in this pack. They are so soft and subtle.
I was able to get some additional embellishments that coordinate with this pack, but most of this layout was done using the paper and accessories sheet. The flowers were an embellishment which I got separately, but you could make your own using any flower dies.
This was extremely easy and fun! I love having coordinating paper and accessories to work with. It takes out all of the guess work as to coordinating paper and embellishments, which saves a lot of time. So nice!

I am personally partial to this collection, because of the shades of blue (my favorite color) and the beautiful snowflake patterns. I can honestly say I like every single sheet of this paper pad!
So, I have a confession to make. I couldn’t get the Snowflake dies to cut all the way through the foil, so instead of getting frustrated and waste more foil, I played with it enough to lift the petals and put adhesive foam under the larger petals to hold them in place and left the small ones raised. I was quite pleased with the finished product, because not being able to pull out the cut parts actually gave a more detailed look in the foil. Sometimes it pays to just leave things alone when you make a mistake!
I stuck the Dew Drops on the snowflake with Glossy Accents and used the same adhesive to apply the snowflake to the card.
It was really easy and took me less than an hour even with my setback!

The holidays are right around the corner, which means traveling is in our eminent future…which is the perfect reason why you should be so excited about the Bo Bunny Detour 6X6 Paper Pad. My husband and I have had a great time the last few weeks riding our Harley through the beautiful Utah canyons to see the colorful fall leaves that I have displayed on this fun Bo Bunny fall layout.
We have had a blast! This past weekend we rode with our youngest son, who also has a motorcycle, and who shares his mom’s passion for photography. We just HAD to stop and shoot a few pics on the way to capture the beauty of the fall colors on the mountains. He even took a shot of me and my husband going around a turn while riding! (I’ll have to talk to him AGAIN about driver’s safety and no taking pictures while driving, but I am happy to have the shot, since I didn’t know he was taking it at the time.) Luckily we were the only ones on that stretch of road at the time!

The little card cutouts are actually from one of the sheets. It has a lot of different images that you either have little sayings on the block or can be used for journaling.
Included in this pad are eighteen 12×12″ sheets of double sided designer paper including journaling card paper and one sheet of coordinating cardstock stickers in warm fall colors of red, orange, green and brown.

I have found a passion in working with Cut, Fold and Tuck dies (See HERE), so this Spellbinders Diamond Strip and Accents baby card was a blast to make! I am quite content to sit and fold over the flaps to create a cool woven embellishment. It’s rather relaxing and I totally love the effect. I am so happy that Spellbinders came out with some new designs in the CFT line. They are SO cool!
I showed my dad how cool these were and he took one look at it and said it looked pretty complicated. HA! Little does he know!
So if you are looking for an easy card idea, try using the Diamond Strips and Accents! You will be amazed at how simple they are to use and all the fun things you can do with them!
The My Mind’s Eye Gnome Sweet Gnome paper pad is the perfect combination of cute and fun for a bow organizer.Gnome Sweet Gnome…isn’t that what all of our homes are some days? Little rascals running around. Flowers blooming in the sun. Colorful personalities popping up out of nowhere. I think everyone has a little bit of this in their lives. That’s why I love this paper pad so much! It’s is so incredibly adorable and colorful. It has personality. It has pizzaz. And most importantly….it has mushrooms! New fact to know about me, I LOVE cartoon mushrooms. I think they are adorable. Anyway, moving on.
I had these frames lying around and I’ve wanted to do this project for weeks! So glad I did it! It’s so cute and I love organizing. I used a white frame (I previously spray painted it white when I purchased it from the thrift store. It was a horrible brown.) I got my Mod Podge out and got all wonderfully sticky. I used the Gnome Sweet Gnome paper pad because it fit with the jungle theme in my kids’ room, but there are so many My Mind’s Eyepaper pads you could use to fit your style. Just cut the paper to fit your frame and Mod Podge it on. When it’s dry, Mod Podge over the paper as well. It will dry clear, so don’t panic!
Here is step one:
Next, you’re going to create your background. Remember how I am “Use what you have lying around your house, Stacy?” Well, I did just that. I used some foam board for the sturdy backing, added some batting, added my yellow fabric and ribbon. You can probable secure it with staples, but I used packaging tape because, well, it’s what I have. There’s so many layers to it, that it’s pretty wedged into the frame anyway and I probably wouldn’t have had to secure it with anything at all.
Now just add your goodies to it! Now I’ll know which bows are missing and which ones the little bow thief didn’t take down for the day! I’ve seen people do a much larger frame and use it for pictures too. Such cute ideas to accent a room!

Okay, so I have been anxiously waiting all week to share with you the Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters Collection Debut! I received my designer samples last week and literally rushed home to create a video and layout to share last week, but then realized the release wasn’t until today! I was SO disappointed because I just couldn’t wait to show you all how gorgeous this collection is. I am not particularly a purple person, but oh, do I LOVE the colors in this collection! Their paper is a great value for those looking to get their money’s worth on materials. The only flower I stamped and cut is in the upper right hand corner of the photo. The lower flower is part of the design. It is really hard to tell in the picture which is the cut flower! The detail in the design is incredible!

Hey Everybody, It’s september and that means we’re all in a School Daze! With all the hustle and bustling of getting back to school, buying books, making lunches, and the works, it’s a good idea to get your craft on and make those little students of yours a back to school card. My mom used to surprise us with a card/note and treat in our lunch boxes and I’ve been so excited to carry on that tradition!

These cards were, no joke, SO EASY! If you’re one of those mom’s (like me) who feels that they have a brilliant idea and only a few minutes to make it before the kids are off to school, then you’ll totally be able to do it! Remember that your kids will LOVE having a little “mom” in their day at school. I still like getting surprise notes from my mom! They’ll think that after all that mom/kid summer time you miss them just that much more! And that is all there is to it! Okay, so I did use adhesive, and my Big Shot machine to cut the dies, but those are staples and don’t count in the recipe as far as I’m concerned. They are a must have for any and all projects and ALWAYS stay on my craft table!

Today I am thrilled to show you Teresa Collins paper collections from CHA 2012! Teresa was busy with other people in her booth when I got there, so I was not able to get a photo with her, but she is very possibly the sweetest person at the show! I was rather disappointed to come away without a picture of her, but I did get some of her new lines that were displayed in her booth. Her booth is always lovely. Like her paper and herself. They say that beauty comes from within, and that is true enough. Teresa is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the surface and just as talented! I’d give anything to have hair like hers!

My Mind’s Eye has some of the cutest 6×6 paper pads for cards! To start off, I used the On the Bright Side paper pad for my card. I love that this pad can be feminine or masculine so it adds a nice, well-r0unded touch to your paper repertoire.
For these cards, I kept the paper unfolded to give it your untraditional front and back look. I love this idea because you can tie this card to a bag with a simple hole punch and ribbon. That way it’s not lost amidst the tissue paper! I know I’m not the only one who has that problem! Use any stamp you want and change the meaning of the card.

For this second card, I used the Be Happy 6×6 paper pad. It is GORGEOUS and also very versatile! I have also completely fallen in love with the QuicKutz DR0313 Medallions! You could use three of the larger medallion punches to fit on this card, or four of the smaller ones like I have done here:
