Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine Baby Shadow Box.

Friday, March 21st, 2014

Hello Sunshine! Today I am working on a baby shadow box featuring Kaisercraft’s Hello Sunshine paper pack and die cut shapes. This paper pack has 6 12×12 double sided pages and includes a sheet of stickers. The co-coordinating papers and stickers make it incredibly easy to mix and match the designs.

The photo on this is project is my darling baby girl who will be 7 soon and our dog both are about 4 months of age at the time.

Once you select your favorite baby photo proceed to select your 12×12 sheet.

Next, find a border or frame to place the photo.

Third, place your larger pieces from the die cut collection using 3D foam adhesive.

Fourth, glue your buttons or any other baby memorabilia.

Once you are done, proceed to place your sheet in the shadow box. For a step-by-step video please see below.

Camping Layout

Friday, June 21st, 2013

Here is a camping layout for all those camping trips that you have planned this summer. This layout is made easy with Bo Bunny’s paper stack  ”Trail Mix” because it has all sorts of different outdoor motifs that you can use for just about any outdoor occasion that you can think of. This was our annual family camping trip to a little lake up Ephraim Canyon called Lake Hill. We have a lot of fun catching fish, going on hikes, sitting around the campfire, and eating lots of good dutch oven cooking. We also used this corrugated paper from DCWV which is a lot of fun that you could in a lot of different situations also. So if you are planning anything outdoors give some of these papers a try.

Clowning Around

Friday, May 17th, 2013

Here is our Clowning Around page layout that you can use for all the clowns in your family. Heather and I made 13 of these pages because Heather is part of a scrapbook exchange. With this exchange they get together every three months (Girls Night) and they each get one page from everyone else. It is really nice because she gets fresh ideas and has a bunch of pages that she just needs to add the pictures.

This layout was a lot of fun and even better when we found these pictures or our kids clowning around. We used DCWV’s the Kidlet Stack because it had this great paper that we thought liked like the circus. We also used a lot of bling because when we got it done it just felt like it was missing something, I am sure you have done that before so if that ever happens just grab some rhinestones from Want2Scrap and it can really finish off a layout.

Heather loves this exchange because she gets a lot of pages out of it, a girls night out, and it keeps her scrapbooking. If you don’t do something like this just find a few friends that scrapbook and see if they would like to do it and you will be surprised how quickly it will grow.

Cute Quickutz Easter Layout

Friday, March 29th, 2013

Hey it’s Easter time and here is a cute layout using Quickutz. Every year we get together as a family and have a big Easter egg hunt in my parents backyard. A few years ago my grandpa came and it was a lot of fun because he was able to turn back the clock a little and be a little kid again. It was so much fun to see the smile on his face as he walked around the yard hunting for those Easter eggs. My grandpa is gone now and I am grateful for pictures to bring back some of those memories.

I really like this paper from Authentique because it is very Easter but not the traditional pastel colors and this particular paper really matched the colors in the pictures well. Good paper makes everything a lot easier. Quickutz make this Easter set that is really fun with bunnies and chicks that really can fit any crafting project that you have. You can cut out these individually or cut a whole line of them at one time.

Hope that you all have a good Easter and get out there and take pictures of those memories you create. Happy Easter!

Heartfelt Creations Halloween Pages

Friday, October 5th, 2012

As promised, here are the pages for our Happy Halloween Book that we made and most of them use the same Heartfelt Creations Paper Collection. I think that I have a new favorite Halloween decoration because it is a lot of fun going back and remembering how cute our kids were in their costumes. A lot of these pages use the Heartfelt Creations Classic Editions Paper Collection, Classic Editions die cut, and stamp sets that coordinate with the die cut set. This combination of paper, die cuts, and stamps make putting Halloween pages together really fun and simple. There are a lot of combinations you can put together with all of this and your imagination really is the limit.

Fantastic Back To School Dies And Paper!

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

It’s that time of year when school bells are ringing and yellow buses are back on the road and homework is part of the nightly routine. Mom’s are exhausted just trying to get the kids out the door and peanut butter is a staple for sack lunches. Before you sent the kids out the door for the first time, you will want to capture the first day on your camera and we have all the needed products that will help you scrapbook those school day memories! Just check out our School category!

Graphic 45  An ABC Primer Collection is shipping now! A happy-go-lucky paper collection that pays homage to the vintage schoolhouse and classic nursery rhymes of times gone by. Recall fond memories from a simpler time when learning took place in a one-room schoolhouse, and cozy afternoons were spent studying the three Rs: reading, writing and arithmetic. This collection includes :

An ABC Primer 12×12 Paper Pad, An ABC Primer 8×8 Paper Pad, An ABC Primer Chipboard Tags 1, An ABC Primer Chipboard Tags 2, and stamp sets in collaboration with Hampton Arts-An ABC Primer 1, An ABC Primer 2 and An ABC Primer 3.

DCWV‘s Grade School Paper Stack  and Grade School Mat Stack are perfect for younger kids, and the High School Mat Stack is stylin’ for the older ones!

QuicKutz offers a large variety of school related dies that can help you embellish pages for all of your children from Pre-School – Collage!

I no longer have young school age children but if I can give any advise, it would be to record those days as soon as possible because you don’t remember things like you think you will and you don’t get any more time once they leave! There are still only 24 hours in a day and other things will fill in that time before you know it (like grandchildren)!

Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!
