Thursday, January 19th, 2012

We have arrived to the final day of Spellbinders Abilities and Beyond Blog Frenzy already! Now, there’s no need for tears. We can look forward to seeing more of the CHA releases soon! We have only seen a portion of the release, and trust me, there is still more to come! I believe patience is a virtue many of us crafters still have to work on, myself included!

With that said, let’s get moving on today’s frenzy! We have been given a treat today of four amazing designers sharing their talents with us on the projects they have created with the Spellbinders products they have been given to work with. I continue to be in awe every day!

We begin with designer Gloria Stengel using the S5-102 Aster Flower Topper Shapeabilities  and E8-012 Classic Decorative Inserts Four on her get well window card and sunflower tag. I know I would feel better instantly if I received one of these! Adorable Gloria!

Designer Nina Brackett has made some very personal gifts with the dies she was presented with. She has designed two unique necklaces with coordinating cards using S5-088 Sewing Elements  and S5-089 Home Sweet Home shapeabilities. She cut and embossed the shapes out of shrink film,  using markers for highlighting and stamping different designs on them before baking. Ingenious Nina!

Product Sizes:

1. Spool: 1 1/2 x 2″
2. Machine: 2 1/2 x 2 1/8″
3. Pin Cushion: 1 7/8 x 1 7/8″

12. Rectangle Tag: 1 1/4 x 7/8″

I can’t even tell you how much I already love the new M-Bossabilities folders! I am thrilled that Spellbinders thought to utilize both sides of the folder with different, but coordinating patterns. Not only does it save storage space, but it saves time not having to switch folders! This was a brilliant idea in my book!

Designer Tina McDonald makes great use of the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ ES-001 Simplicity M-Bossabilities on her trinket box and tag. She was also given the S5-068 Decorative Dress Forms shapeabilities which she incorporated beautifully on these projects.  I believe she also snuck in a few other new items! I’ll let you figure out which ones. Fabulous projects Tina!

Product Sizes:

1. Lattice: 1 7/8 x 2 1/4″
2. Scalloped: 2 1/8 x 2 5/8″
3. Plain: 1 3/4 x 3 1/8″
4. Swirls: 1 3/4 x 3 1/8″

Our final designer for this incredible Blog Frenzy is….(drum roll please!) Windy Robinson! I don’t even want to know how long it took her to roll all of these gorgeous flowers! At first I thought they were real and that the project was the box, but then I saw the dies she was using! Wow! This is over the top Windy! She did a fabulous job creating her beautiful flower box and card using the following dies. Just take a look for yourselves!

I believe we have been extremely blessed with inspiration over the past eight days. Don’t you think? In behalf of  Cut@Home, I would like to express our appreciation to Spellbinders and their designers for permitting us to be included in this wonderful Blog Frenzy. Thank you so much!

I would also like to thank you, our customers, for participating with us! It has been lots of fun!

**Reminder- If you have already placed a pre-order and would like additional pre-order items, you can add to your existing pre-order at any time during the pre-order season! This will save you shipping!

Spellbinders Abilities and Beyond Blog Frenzy-Day Seven!

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

Here we are, already on day seven of Spellbinders Abilities and Beyond Blog Frenzy! Can you believe it? Only two days left! I am in awe of today’s products and designer projects! We have some spectacular things to show you today, so let’s not waste another minute!

Designer Linda Duke introduces Spellbinders first item of the day S5-090 Romantic Rectangles Nestabilities with two projects that fit the name! There is most definitely an elegant, romantic touch to her projects which truly proves paper crafting an art! These are wonderful Linda!

Product sizes:

1. 1 1/4 x 1″
2. 2 7/8 x 1 7/8″
3. 4 1/4 x 2 3/4″
4. 5 7/8 x 3 7/8″

There must be a romance in the air, because designer Sherry Cheever has designed her projects with a similar feel. The intricate S5-064 Moroccan Accents and S5-065 Moroccan Motifs was her inspiration to create her lovely box and lantern below. Thank you Sherry!

S5-064 Moroccan Accents:

Product sizes:

1. Border: 9 x 7/8″
2. Corners: 2 x 1 1/4″
3. Star Small: 1/2″
4. Star large: 3/4″
5. Oblong Accent: 1 5/8 x 3″
6. Large Accent: 2 3/4″

S5-065 Moroccan Motifs:

Product sizes:

1. Flower small: 1/2″
2. Star: 1 3/4″
3. Round: 1 1/8″
4. Motif small: 1 1/2″
5. Motif medium: 2 1/2″
6. Motif large: 4 1/8″

And now, on to our final revelation of the day. AJ Otto has made wonderful use of 5 x 7″ EL-004 Imperial M-Bossabilities by creating an oh so cute- mini album and fun layout! She shows us how versatile these reversible M-Bossabilites are to emboss different projects! Thanks for sharing AJ!

These are all so great!  One of the things I love about crafting is that you can give two people the same items and put them to work and their projects will turn out so very different! The great thing about these tools for paper crafting is you can use them over and over and never turn out the same look twice! There are just so many p0ssabilities!

**Reminder- If you have already placed a pre-order and would like additional pre-order items, you can add to your existing pre-order at any time during the pre-order season! This will save you shipping!

Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!

Tonya used S4-340 Create-A-Flake Three and LF-347 Grand Labels Twenty-Three for her Adorable You layout and Let it Snow hanger! The interesting thing is, she used the negative image of the Create-A-Flake Three to make flowers on her page! Great ideas! Thanks Tonya!

Spellbinders Blog Frenzy-Day One!

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

It is FINALLY time for summer CHA 2011 in Chicago, and Spellbinders Blog Frenzy has now started! This is where we get a sneak peak at some of the new items that are being launched at . We are so excited  show you these fabulous new dies! They will be launching 52 new dies in all and we think you are going to love them all.

This year Spellbinders is introducing a new product called Edgeabilities that are 8″ long! There are six sets, each containing three dies. One die to cut the edge and two coordinating decorative insert dies. You can also mix and match with other sets for a total of 75 different designs! Amazing!

Let’s get started!

We want to start with S4-346 Labels Twenty-Two! Similarly shaped to the Labels Twenty-One, it has inverted decorative corners that look like you have used a paper punch! Such a nice touch!

The new E8-001 Classic Scallop Edgeabilities is a must have for my book! I love how you can create different scallop looks! Scallops have such a soft, pretty look on anything!

Designer Debbie Olson shows us how she used both of these dies for her awesome projects!

Next we have S4-348 Postage Stamps Nestabilities which are self descriptive! You get 5 different sizes of postage stamps!

The E8-005 Classic Postage Stamp Edgeabilities coordinates beautifully with the Postage Stamps Nestabilities  as shown by designer Kimberly Crawford in her Postage Stamp card and “I love you to Space” Layout! So cute!

A big Thank You to Debbie and Kimberly for sharing their projects with us! They are wonderful! This is just a sample of what is yet to come!

Here is a video for your viewing pleasure:

Friday, May 20th, 2011

Wow! I can’t believe that it is already Friday! May is speeding by super fast! Of course, with all the cool, rainy weather we have had in Utah, it doesn’t feel like spring yet! That is a good thing when it comes to waiting  for the latest items that have been released this month! I  just want to stay inside where its warm and play with the latest stamp sets from Just Rite Stampers! They are amazing as usual!

The cards below are made using the Smile Set. You receive four 2″ design centers with four extra wide borders, for a total of 3 1/4″. You will need the 3 1/4″ Wood Stamper.

This stamp set coordinates with the Spellbinders Standard Circles Large, Classic Scalloped Circles Large, Classic Scalloped Circles Small, Big Scalloped Circles Large, and Big Scalloped Circles Small Nestabilities.

Have a great weekend!

Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!

Spellbinders Back Order Update!

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011

We have been notified by Spellbinders that there are more back order items! These items will not be available until approximately the end of April! Unfortunately, we are not always made aware of these back orders until after we place our order with them, therefore, we can not make our customers aware until after orders have been placed. Once we find out, then we put the item on back order on our website!

As these items are over 30 days out, we are removing them from existing orders as we are unable to hold orders that long anymore, unless it is the ONLY item on that order. We ask that you reorder those items once they are back in stock on a separate order. Please be aware that we are making every effort to email you if we are removing items from your order, however, we are not able to replace items as we are unable to hold the orders to wait for response. Therefore, once we remove the items we are shipping as quickly as possible! We appreciate your patience in this matter!

This January Spellbinders CHA Release has been the hottest release to date! The response has been huge! These are all absolutely beautiful and you WILL want them for your die collection!

The following back ordered items are in addition to our Blog of last week:

S5-042                                    LF–161                               LF-190

As always, we fill orders in sequence of when they come in. If you decide that you want to reorder these items before they arrive, PLEASE make sure you place the item on a separate order! If you put them on an order with in stock items, the back ordered items will be removed!

Please note, we may follow this procedure with other vendors back ordered items also!

Final Day for Spellbinders Blog Frenzy!

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Here we are at the final day of the Spellbinders Blog Frenzy! We feel this is one of the strongest  CHA releases since Nestabilities first stormed on the scene a few years ago. Based on the comments from our customers, you all agree! So let’s take our last peek into the Day 8 release with the S4-317 Fleur de Lis Rectangles, S4-322 Grommet Tags, LF-246 Grand Labels Eleven and S4-323 Ribbon Tags Trio Two shown below:

The Fleur de Lis Rectangles are Decorative Elements Nestabilities. Both tags are shapeabilities and the Grand die is a Nestabilities. Here are some projects to get you thinking about what you can do with these dies!

Spellbinders DT member Heidi Blankenship used both the Fleur de Lis Rectangles and Grommet Tags for both these projects. I love the intricacy of the Fleur de Lis Rectangles. Grommet Tags have long been a favorite of mine as I love to add ribbon and a bit of bling to my tags and these tags are perfect for doing just that. To see how she made these projects, please visit Heidi’s blog. Thanks Heidi!

Next we have two projects by Spellbinders DT member Julie Overby.

Julie used the Grand Labels Eleven and Ribbon Tags Trio Two on both these projects. The first project is a calendar. To see the rest of the pages, and for more information on her designs, click on Julie’s name and it will take you to her blog. They are worth seeing. Very cute! The second project is an elegant card. Great job Julie!

Well that’s it for the sneak preview of the Spellbinders winter CHA release. The rest of the release will be viewable on Saturday, January 29th. To see all the dies we have previewed, and for more information about each die, please go to our pre-order page.

Thank you and Happy Scrappin!

Marcie
