Spellbinders Blog Frenzy continues with Day 6!

Monday, January 17th, 2011

We start Day 6 of the Spellbinders Blog Die Frenzy with four new dies to DIE for: S4-313 Blossom Four, S4-321 Nested Leaves, LF-168 Grand Large Labels and S5-031 Fancy Tags Three. Here is what they look like:

The Blossom Four joins Blossom One, Two and Three in the very popular blossom Nestabilities line. The Nested Leaves is a shapeabilities die that will give you three different shapes and many different sizes of each shape to choose from. Use alone or add greenery to your flower die cuts. There are 6 die templates in S4-313 Blossom Four, which come to about $4.00 per die template. There are 8 in S4-321 Nested Leaves, which makes them about $2.50 per die template. That’s a great value for triple function (cut, emboss and stencil) die templates!! Spellbinders DT member Linda Duke created these beautiful projects using both the Blossom Four and Nested Leaves:

The Grand Large Labels is just like the Large Labels Nestabilities only bigger! And more tags with the Fancy Tags Three shapeabilities die! A girl can NEVER have too many tags! Here is what Gina Hanson did with these two dies:

Many thanks to Linda and Gina and of course Spellbinders for sharing with us their talents. For more information on the recipes used, please visit the designers blogs. If you would like to pre-order these dies and any other blog frenzy dies, please go to our pre-order page. These dies will be shipping in February or March 2011.

Happy Scrappin!

Next we have two more shapeabilities dies from the Accents & Motifs category:

Here is the S5-040 Floral Doily Accents and S5-041 Floral Doily Motifs. This is similar to the Parisian Accents and Parisian Motifs we introduced on Day 3.  DT member Mona Pendleton has fun with using these new dies!

Thanks Latisha and Mona! Your projects are gorgeous! For the recipes, please visit their respective blogs. These are to DIE for!

Spellbinders Day Four Blog Frenzy!

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

Spellbinders Blog Frenzy continues! Day four has blossoms, foliage and hearts galore!

First let’s look at the latest addition to the VERY popular blossoms Nestabilities sets, S4-312 Blossoms Three.

I love the parenthesis look of the petals on this flower. I can see using a vintage Graphic 45 paper and crimping the edges! And to go with this flower die and ALL your other flowers is the S4-328 Foliage shapeabilities die.

Of course I think greenery when I see this, but what about a glittery white for a Christmas layout, set with holly and berries or a poinsettia! Or gold for a wedding or red and orange for fall! The new Precious Metals foils from Spellbinders would really glam it up! Here is what Spellbinders DT member Sherry Cheever did:

Great color and design, thanks Sherry!

The next die to preview is the S4-316 Heart Circles. It is a Decorative Elements Nestabilities and comes with four dies:

Isn’t this gorgeous! I only wish I could have it THIS Valentines Day! But alas, all these new CHA dies will not be shipping until March. There is always next year! Here is what DT member Deborah Young did with this die:

I am LOVING this new Spellbinders release. Everything is to DIE for! You can find all the blog frenzy dies from Spellbinders that have been previewed on our Pre-Order page.

See you tomorrow for Day 5 of the Spellbinders Blog Frenzy!

Spellbinders Blog Frenzy Day 3!

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

Here we are at Day 3 of the Spellbinders Blog Frenzy! We have four new dies to show you.

Take a trip to Paris with the S5-034 Parisian Accents and the S5-035 Parisian Motifs! These are the first dies in the brand new Accent & Motifs category, so look for more to come in later releases. These dies are intricate and delicate and perfect for a wedding or formal project. Let’s see what DT member Becca Feeken designed with these dies:

Stunning! Thanks Becca!

Next we have more nesting dies, the S5-028 Nested Pennants and the S5-029 Nested Lacey Pennants:

Pennants are all the rage now. Please note these are nested dies, not Nestabilities. Here are the projects designed by Spellbinders DT member AJ Otto:

You can see why pennants are so popular. It’s the versatility! These two projects are so different. Thanks AJ!

You can find out more about these dies, and the dies from Day 1 and Day 2 by going to our pre-order page.

Happy Scrappin!

Spellbinders Blog Frenzy Day Two!

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

We have three new dies to preview for Day 2 of the Spellbinders Blog Frenzy!

This is S5-032 Elegant Posts. It is a Shapeabilities die. You receive five different posts giving you lots of options to hang your favorite label from!

This shape should look familiar to all you Labels Four fans! This is the S4-309  Labels Four Small Nestabilities die! So now we have all three sizes of Labels Four dies! This one is sure to be a HUGE hit so I would definitely add this to your pre-order list to make sure you are one of the first to have one. Here is what Spellbinders DT member Kazan Clark did with these two dies:

Next we have the latest addition to the Nestabilities Decorative Elements:

Introducing the S4-319  Lattice Rectangles! Layer this with the Classic Rectangles for a truly inspiring project! Look what Judy Hayes did with this new die:

With Valentines Day coming upon us, these projects are just what we need to get us in the right frame of mind.

For the recipes on the projects shown, please visit the designers blog. For more information on the new dies, go to our pre-order page.

See ya tomorrow for Day 3 for more die cuts to DIE for!

Spellbinders Blog Frenzy starts today!

Monday, January 10th, 2011

So here we go with another Spellbinders Blog Frenzy! We are counting down the days to the NEW Spellbinders release that will be introduced at winter CHA in Los Angeles. Spellbinders will be releasing 45 brand new dies, which will include 16 new Nestabilities! They have two brand new formats that will bring fun, new techniques to paper crafting. This new release will begin shipping in February or March.

Let’s get started with the Day One release:

This is a brand new addition to the fabulous Nestabilities labels line: Labels Eighteen. It reminds me of a vintage tag with its elegant shape and flared corners.

This next one is the Ribbon Banners. They remind me of the sentiments line Spellbinders used to carry, that I loved! The great part about these are they are blank and are large enough to add your own sentiment! Here is what Debbie Olsen did with these dies:

Thanks Debbie!

Next we have a Grand die:

This is the Creative Book Pages which can be used to create a mini album, Or get REALLY creative and use them as borders! Donna Salazar made this great mini album!

She also used the Rose Creations shapeabilities die cut on this project shown below:

And because Spellbinders knows we scrappers and cardmakers can never have too many flowers, they came up with Carnation Creations, also a shapeabilities die:

Here is a spin on custom tabs that I never saw coming:

Think outside the office with the Creative Page Tabs. You get NINE custom tabs to mark your pages. Or clip off the tab and use as a die shape!

How many ways can we say WOW!! For the recipes used, please click on the designers name and visit their blog.

These dies are available on our pre-order page where you can also see their dimensions. As always, the VIP coupon is not valid on any pre-order items, and any pre-order items need to be on a separate order from the dies that are currently shipping.

Thanks for taking a peek and I will see you tomorrow for two more new dies as the Spellbinders Blog Frenzy continues!

Happy Scrappin’!

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

The good news is the Spellbinders Grand Calibur Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and Grand Nestabilities dies are finally here! Yippee!! The bad news is we have a limited supply and Spellbinders is already sold out of the machines and the dies! Awwww…. The response to this machine and the larger size dies has been phenomenal and Spellbinders just didn’t make enough. We have filled all our pre-orders and they were shipped yesterday. I have a little bit of inventory left, and I am working on getting some more. I will keep you posted. We have a special blog page devoted to your frequently asked questions about the Grand Calibur so make sure to read all about it.  We also have a video I took at CHA in July of a demonstration of the Grand Calibur for your viewing pleasure.  For those of you who are fortunate enough to own one, I would love to hear from you and let me know what you think of Spellbinders latest and greatest machine.

Visit to Spellbinders

Monday, October 18th, 2010

The owners of Cut@Home took a little road trip last week! We left the cool, fall temperatures of Utah and traveled to the Arizona desert heat to visit our good friends at Spellbinders.  We had meetings most of Thursday and Friday with Jeff and Stacey, Jerry and Terre. It was great to meet all the team members who work behind the scenes that we have never met like Amanda, Lisa, Joe and Barry. We also took a tour of States Logistics, the fulfillment center who ships all the product, and met Mark and Serena.  I saw my Grand Calibur shipment going out, so it will be here today! Stacey gave us sneak peek of the the new designs they are working on for their winter release. I am sworn to secrecy, so all I can say is WOOHOOOOO!!!! Look out, you are going to LOVE them! Lots of Nestabilities coming your way! I worked out some special deals, so look for a special sale on the Wizard coming up this week and a free die give-away in November. We toured their new facility, which they will be occupying in November. The Caron’s were gracious hosts, driving us all over and setting us up in their casita for the evenings. We had a great time. Many thanks to everyone who made us feel so welcome! We can’t wait to go back!

Happy Scrappin!

Introducing Heartfelt Creations!

Monday, August 30th, 2010

We are so excited to be introducing to you Heartfelt Creations! We have been thinking of bringing on stamps for a few years now, and frankly it has been quite overwhelming with all the darling stamps on the market! How do I take on a project this size? So, when Stacey from Spellbinders told me how they have teamed with a few select stamp companies, I knew I had found the right niche! Stacey took me over and introduced me to Richard and Emma Lou of Heartfelt Creations and I fell in love with their designs. I knew we had to carry their line of coordinating pre-cut rubber stamps along with their exclusive Spellbinders dies! Teaming the Spellbinders dies with the matching stamps gives you a 3-D explosion of possibilities, and adds depth to any project! This combination takes die-cutting to an entirely new level. You will love it. Watch a VIDEO here of Emma Lou demonstrating how to use the stamps and die cuts together to create beautiful projects: Heartfelt Creations & Spellbinders VIDEO

Happy Scrappin and Stampin!

Spellbinders blog frenzy continues with Lacey Circles, Witches Brew and Nested Bats!

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

The last three dies with the Spellbinders Blog Frenzy are the S4293 Lacey Circles Nestabilities , S4282 Witches Brew shapeabilities and S4277 Nested Bats!

I love the Lacey collection of nestabilities! The Witches Brew shapes and Nested Bats will be great for Halloween layouts. I love how Spellbinders gave us a right and a left shoe!

Now, let’s look at projects! Keri Lee Sereika created some beautiful projects using the Lacey Circles:

She used felt on the first project, and they have clips glued on the back to make barrettes for your hair. On her second project, she used the Lacey Circles as a clasp. Keri also has a great idea for using your nestabilities for borders. Check out her blog post. Great ideas Keri!

Kazan Clark had a ghoulish good time with her Halloween dies!

Well there ya have it! Another great Spellbinders Blog Frenzy! Spellbinders is releasing additional dies at CHA next week, so make sure you check our pre-order category on July 27th. To find out the recipes on the designs featured, please click on the designers name.

Thanks and Happy Scrappin!

NEW Spellbinders Nested Hearts and Wonky Squares Nestabilities!

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

A new day has dawned and you know what that means! MORE Spellbinders dies!! Today’s blog frenzy revealed two new dies – the Nested Hearts and Wonky Squares Nestabilities!

The S4296  Nested Hearts have a very Victorian flair to them with the scrolls. They look like charms to me with the loop at the top. Heidi Blankenship designed the following projects:

Thanks Heidi – these are gorgeous!

The S4289 Wonky Squares are part of the Nestabilities collection and include seven different sizes:

Here is Mona Pendleton’s projects:

I love the abstract lines of this die. Stacked they make a great pinwheel!

These dies and the rest you have seen are available on our pre-order page. Tomorrow we will show the last dies, then I will be getting ready for CHA next week! To see the recipes on making these projects, please click on the designers name.
